Palatinate (/ pəˈlætɪnɪt /; German: Pfalz) is a German wine -growing region (Weinbaugebiet) in the area of Bad Dürkheim, Neustadt an der Weinstraße, and Landau in Rhineland-Palatinate. Before 1993, it was known as Rhine Palatinate (Rheinpfalz).
