In May 1919, ou r organisation was born to save the lives of children left to starve in the ruins of post-war Europe.. But to do that, our founder Eglantyne Jebb needed to change the way the world looked at children altogether. She did.Before long, Jebb inspired people from Washington to Wellington to help those who were, until recently, the children of their ‘enemies’.
