I've recently made a post on starting an online nation (virtual world + social network) where Doge is the national currency, and where all transactions are purely Doge (i.e. no intermediate exchanges to fiat). I've received some good feedback on this idea and have some people who are interested in joining the project.

I believe when the bitcoin halving comes around, miners could try to offset their losses by mining other coins that are more profitable. Since Dogecoin is the 2nd top mineable coin by marketcap, how will that affect the price? will miners immediately sell Doge for BTC and bring the price down, or will there be different dynamics?
