Aug 11, 2024 · Its Waltham 18S model 1883 grade Sterling movement isn't lever set and its Philadelphia Watch Case Co. Silverode case has the same front cutout as cr123890's case. I think the movement & case were brought together at the retail level and the case was designed to be able to accommodate a lever set movement if desired.

As stated in Watch Case Makers of England, pg. 69, Dennison left Waltham and settled in Birmingham, England in 1872. By the 1920 s Dennison s company was heavily involved with Waltham.
