Jan 23, 2019 · I really like this grinder. However, after roughly only an hour of use, it has developed this habit of the grinding disc spinning off...AFTER I stop grinding and place the tool down. As it is decelerating, I can just watch the nut spin loose...spinning its way right off the grinder. It didn't do this when I first started using it.

Nov 12, 2015 · Every time you use it the nut loosens up. It happens with grinding wheels and cutting wheels and flap wheels. Doesn't matter what brand wheel. The nut is being used in the proper orientation. You can use the spanner wrench and crank the shit out of it. It doesn't matter how tight you get it, it loosens up every time.

May 28, 2015 · I just picked up a second hand cheap Black and Decker Work Wheel. It works but I fiugure the sanding material is caput, finished. I looked around the internet and it looks like the Work Wheel is also caput finished. Can anyone confirm? Also looks like a replacement flap wheel is caput, finished, unavailable as well. On the 'default' drawings for the Type 20 I now only see one '170', with a different PN & price: 170 N157708 SUPPORT HOUSING 1 $194.25

The newer versions are made of stamped steel instead of cast iron. The newer versions have smaller / lighter duty casters.
