Jun 13, 2020 · Correct me if I'm wrong, but they did limit the Prime production numbers due to battery issues in their supply chain. So for 2021, maybe even 2022, the Prime will be hard to come by. Although if a look at the numbers from my local dealer, I'm thinking they can just stop making Prius Prime's and move those batteries to RAV4 Prime! Haha.

Mar 3, 2022 · I just got a Prime - XSE with a premium tech pkg. I picked it up last week, just when gas prices started to skyrocket. I waited over two years. My previous car was a 2008 Rav4, so I'm definitely a little overwhelmed with the new features. Fortunately, I have a 30 year old son who took me through some of the additions and safety features.

Apr 11, 2021 · Dear RAV4 Prime Forum, I am seriously interested in an RAV4 Prime SE to replace my old 1998 Honda CR-V EX, but I'm 6'4"+ and unfortuately don't seem to fit in the RAV4 with a moonroof option. There appears to be an approximately 2" difference in the front headroom and as most of my height in in my trunk I really need that extra 2" of headroom.

It effectively eliminated the need to hold extra stock, doing away with some cumbersome processes at Toyota factories.

Oct 1, 2024 · Prime wasn't worth the additional cost, don't need the range, didn't want lithium, Prime availability was nil, and dealer markup was excessive I'll have to familiarize myself with the battery. I'd have no problem building a charger for any 244.8v nimh battery(34 7.2v cells in series), and no problem or fear working on it.
