Oct 18, 2021 · When you check for a database update in Sentinel it also checks for it's own version upgrades and will notify if there is a new version. I think the last update was when the SDS200 was announced. Of course the database is updated weekly and firmware for the radios as needed but these are independent of the Sentinel version updates.

May 12, 2020 · How do I download the Sentinel program in my pc (windows 10) for my new SDS200. Went on a site that took a half hour explaining how the program works but never explain how to download it.

Jul 3, 2019 · Open the software to the left you will see a list: Database, USA, Canada and Favorites list. To start you will need to setup a profile. Just under the File menu tab (top left of the page) you will see a blank page if you hover the curser over it it will say New Profile. Click on it and a small window will open asking you to Enter a Profile Name.

Oct 7, 2023 · Using the free Uniden Sentinel software gets you the ability to access the RR database AND download it into the Sentinel program. I believe any licensing costs are paid for by Uniden and passed along to the end users as an inclusion in the price paid for the scanner, which is necessary for firmware updates anyway.

It's done through the Sentinel software, and the instructions are nicely outlined on page 10 of your SDS200 owner's manual.
