IMO, don't preorder blasters, especially at full price. That's all the more reinforced by Dart Zone's last Pro Releases in the Omnia (severe QC issues), MK 4 (mediocre Worker Swift Reshell), MK 1.2 (severe jamming issues, far too flimsy stock), MK 2.1 (honestly fine), and MK 3 (significant problems with Talon mags).

Not only does other blaster at that price point really come close to its performance, but most other high-performance blasters also need dissasebly and upgrades to hit the 150+ FPS. For someone looking to get into high-performance foam blasting, the Nexus is super cheap and works out of the box.

I think the Nexus will be fondly remembered as an important blaster, similar to the Alpha Trooper and Retaliator, but it's not a particularly compelling blaster, at least by 2024 standards. Blasters like the GF Trion, X-Shot Longshot, and particularly the Nexus Pro X show how much room for improvement there was with the design. Pros:

Jul 11, 2022 · But, as far as the Nexus Pro is concerned, as long as the ergonomics and style are what you were looking for, it is a comfortable, high performance, easily modified blaster, that punches as hard as some community designed blasters costing 2 or 3 times the price, on the shelves of a common big box store (Walmart, in my country).

Feb 23, 2021 · Rmods74 makes the best SCARs in my opinion. He has a new design specifically for the Aeon and the Nexus that fits in the muzzle device slot. I own multiple Accuratio, Blastertech, Slug SCARs. The Accuratio can't be beat for the price but you'd need to have aftermarket barrel for the Nexus. It also can leave striations on the darts as you use them.

I didn’t see a thread about the Nexus Pro X availability so I decided to make one. It’s showing out of stock online, but I’ve been checking local Walmarts, just in case. Found one all by itself at the Statesboro Walmart in SE Georgia. I haven’t seen anything else in the Savannah, Statesboro, and coastal South Carolina area.
