In the TV show, it's one of the first things he does and he does it A LOT. It ruins the mystique and also kills immersion. You can't put yourself in his shoes if you don't look like him now.

I don’t agree with all of it but it’s a different take because it’s a different format. We all learned to accept the transition from H3 to H4.

But I hard disagree. The halo games have always done a good job through body language and at times music to show us how Chief feels.

A reason not valid for the tv series. And people gotta not bring mandalorian as an example. He has a cultural reason not to. Chief doesn't.

Oct 9, 2022 · Halo CE's helmet is a classic and is in Halo 3, 4, Reach and Infinite for multiplayer so I don't know, Halo 2, 3 and Infinite's helmet are literally the same thing and is the most iconic while Halo 4 and 5's helmet looks similar but shares that ugly 343 design so the worst helmet Chief has used is probably Halo 4 and 5's.
