Apr 28, 2023 · I get that a used car will have some blemishes, but most of the things listed above are cheap to do and Tesla skimped. It's the difference between a gold experience and a mediocre one. I expect a third party dealer to have misses like the one above, I guess I expected Tesla to deliver a better experience but they came up short.

It allowed me to enjoy the full Tesla experience without any hiccups. Plus, returning the car was as simple as removing it from the app, and all the settings reset to default, making the process super convenient. Also, the rental cost for the Tesla was surprisingly competitive compared to other vehicles. In my case, it was the cheapest option.

Rather than keep your car it's better service and cheaper for them to swap the computer and then work on the old computer separately, whether that means fixing it (refurbishing), using it for diagnostic data, selling it, trying it in other cars, trashing it, etc. Floating parts are cheap, floating customers are expensive.

Jul 1, 2022 · Sure, but everyone I know who has ever had a car cover used it for a week or two then gradually stopped bothering. Even the most anal folks I know. I bought a car once that came with a really top end cover. Used it once. It's really a PITA to get on and off.

Jul 6, 2023 · So I pressed the lock button and left the car. It was then when I got back that I realized I couldn't unlock the car. And with Hertz you don't get mobile access. I called up Roadside assistance and after 45 minutes, they were able to remotely unlock the car to where I confirmed my keycard is there.
