Should I play Gears of War 1, ultimate edition on PC
LOL, there will never be a Gears of War collection on pc. I cannot believe what I'm writing here, but you should really at least try gamepass ultimate, that allows you to play many xbox games, including Gears of War 1,2 and 3 on pc via streaming.

Don’t know what ya mean by digital version of Ultimate Edition for 360. Ultimate came out for Xbox one. Original gears 1 on PC for the extra missions that were exclusive but Ultimate Edition remake has em and should be played on new consoles for better graphics experience! Gears 2-3 just play on 360, Gears 3 holds up noww very well!

I cannot progress past the title screen for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on PC. It states that I need a gamer profile. Launching the game from the Xbox app leads to the same result. Pressing the Xbox button in-game indicates that I am signed-in. In the settings for the Microsoft account tied to my PC, my 'gamer account' is linked.
