Jan 14, 2015 · We own a 500 foot long driveway, to our home. There are 3 homes on the other side of the driveway, and a farm just past our home. All four of those have a legal easement and the right to use our lane, as do visitors to their property. We have to make sure no one blocks the lane, keeping people from using our driveway. Jan 24, 2015 · The easement may not give exact measurements for the size of the ingress-egress easement. It will state that the easement owner (rear property) has the right to have ingress over the driveway. County regulations will specify how wide the easement is, for public safety such as a fire engine, etc.
