Dec 16, 2021 · Has anyone found a way to hack in an Ethernet connection to a V2 or V3 cam? I have a location that does not get wifi, but has a Cat5 cable, and would like to use a V3 there.

May 31, 2023 · Works well for the V3 (without mods to firmware), less so the Pan V1, V2. The regular v2 works well too, but requires a USB A adapter and modifications to the firmware.

Jul 9, 2022 · In order to get a Wyze camera to work with POE (at least for the moment) you would need a special USB adapter (one with USB C if you can find it), ethernet cable installed to the location where you want the camera, a waterproof enclosure for ethernet adapter, a POE injector, hub or switch and then some device to potentially record the video.
