Why do so many people say Ethiopia wasn't colonized?
In Ethiopia’s case, Italian influence is extremely minuscule as Ethiopia retains most, if not all of its cultural heritage. Amharic is the state language not Italian. It is also worth noting that for a country to be colonised, it needs to be under full control of the region.

Jul 4, 2023 · Once you do finish grinding though it's time to go BALLS TO THE WALLS; this is because after Ethiopia starts losing provinces they will be able to select the focus that let's Haile Selassie escape, which is 30 days only iirc. So if they are able to select the focus then you have a month to take down Ethiopia without ending up in a endless war.

Exploration is also awesome for Ethiopia because you can colonize the Cape, thus blocking off the Euros, and make Zanzibar into a pseudo-endnode, then you can colonize the Spice Islands, steer trade to Zanzibar, and become filthy rich. Actually depending on your MP situation, you could even pick Exploration 2nd.

That rule has been lifted every since and you can get visa on arrival. The problem is with communication. Airlines are still enforcing the no visa on arrival rule unaware that it has been lifted.
