Depends on what kind of flooring you want, honestly. Black Friday has dirt cheap trafficmaster laminate - not the greatest quality, but different colors than what's normally in stock. Otherwise, one thing you can do is talk to the flooring supervisor and tell them what you're looking for. Ask if they'll notify you of clearance flooring.

I'm trying to decide between this Lifeproof plank from Home Depot or this "Winchester" option from a local store (Windsor Plywood). Both are roughly the same price and both have a 6 mil wear layer. The main difference is the Winchester is 10mm thick vs 7mm for the Lifeproof.

There is probably a Home Depot in every town over 50k in America. They probably try to maintain certain standards, but the bottom 10 percent of them are probably shit, and the top ten percent are likely excellent. A freind of mine used them, and they no-called, no-showed after he burned a vacation day to meet them at the home.

There’s a main point I focus on when talking about this floor. Wear later: vinyl flooring comes with different wear layers and the price will reflect that.

I used Home Depot last month for carpet and laminate install. They were running a deal for free install for carpet if you purchased over $700 worth of carpet at over $1/ sqft. The company that did the install was named “Step 2” and was a subsidiary of Home Depot I believe.
