I've been hearing claims about how Black overall is a much harder game than the vanilla version of Ninja Gaiden. However that takes into account Black's mission mode, its new tougher unlockable difficulties, and the hurrican packs integrated into the main game, its obvious this is not taking into account the game's default modes.

But Ninja Gaiden Black has better enemies and offers a more satisfying challenge comparing the two games at their hardest difficulty. Jan 24, 2024 · Sigma 2 is disappointing, I suggest installing Sigma 2 BLACK mod which brings back what made the original Ninja Gaiden 2 so great. Razors Edge is the best version of NG3, so no complaints there. All in all, they are fairly barebones ports, but there are some really good mods out there if you look hard enough.

Jun 2, 2022 · The custom ninja was taken aswell. Sigma 1 is pretty decent. Has less outfits compared to black, has new equipment items that buff your health, damage, defense, and powers. You play as Rachel now. New bosses, reworked some of the chapters pathways. A couple puzzles from Ninja Gaiden Black are gone.
