A man was taken to a local hospital after he was hit by a SunRail train in Winter Park on Friday morning. There were 30 passengers and three crew members on board the train when the crash occurred. They were not injured.

The Winter Park Police Department is investigating an incident involving a Sunrail train. According to the Florida Department of Transportation, an incident involving one of their trains happened just before 7:30 a.m. early Friday morning. The incident happened on the tracks at Minnesota Avenue between the Winter Park and Advent Health stations.

Police say a SunRail train struck a man Friday morning in Winter Park. It happened shortly after 7 a.m. near the intersection of Minnesota and Barnum Avenues. The Winter Park Police Department said investigators had not identified the pedestrian injured in the collision.
