The Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday activated utility player Weston Wilson from the 10-day injured list. Kody Clemens, who is out of minor league options, was designated for assignment to make room for Wilson on the club's 26-man roster.

The Philadelphia Phillies announced that they activated Weston Wilson and designated Kody Clemens for assignment ahead of their game against the New York Mets.

To make room on the 26-man roster, utility man Kody Clemens was designated for assignment. Clemens, 28, is out of minor league options so he couldn’t be sent down to triple-A Lehigh Valley. The Phillies have five days to trade him or place him on waivers. If he clears waivers he could be assigned to Lehigh Valley
