The Army pulled off a sweeping affair featuring more than 6,000 soldiers, 50 aircraft, and fireworks to cap the event highlighting its 250th anniversary.

Cities large and small across the U.S. saw crowds gather Saturday for planned "No Kings" protests against President Trump.
U.S. Capitol Police arrested about 60 demonstrators Friday evening during a protest of the appearance of troops in Saturday’s Army celebration in Washington and at immigration protests in Los Angeles. More than 50 of those arrested were veterans, according to organizers.
This comes after large protests erupted in Los Angeles and other major cities against the Trump administration’s immigration policies.
No Kings organizers said they intentionally avoided having an event in Washington, so Trump couldn’t use the protest as justification to crack down on demonstrators or label the movement antimilitary.
Hundreds of demonstrators marched through Barcelona, Lisbon, Venice and other European cities over the weekend, protesting the negative effects of over-tourism.
