Vanderbilt baseball won the series against Tennessee for the first time since 2021 with a 7-5 win at Lindsey Nelson Stadium on Sunday. The Commodores (35-16, 15-11 SEC) and the Vols (39-12, 15-11) are both in contention to host an NCAA tournament regional.

The Commodores waited out a two-hour rain delay to beat the Volunteers on their home field and are now positioned to be at home for most of the postseason.
