Sony has announced it will hold a summer State of Play presentation on Wednesday, June 4th, making this first week of June an all-timer for the video game industry. Not only do we have the Switch 2 launching this week, but all the video game showcases are dropping at once, because while E3 is a thing of the past, we still need an excuse to party.

Summer Game Fest week is here and today will feature Sony’s slate of announcements. You can watch the June 2025 PlayStation State of Play showcase here. The PlayStation State of Play livestream will take place today, June 4, 2025, at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET. It’ll be streamed on PlayStation’s Twitch and YouTube channels.
