The Smithsonian Institution has restored information on the impeachments of President Donald Trump to a display in its American history museum after previously removing it as part of an internal content review for “political or partisan influence.

The Smithsonian Institution has reinstalled material referencing President Donald Trump’s two impeachments at an exhibit related to the presidency at the National Museum of American History – but there have been some omissions made to the prior text.

The museum says the updated presentation reflects careful consideration and adherence to institutional principles.
