Russell Martin has signed a three-year contract to become the new head coach of Rangers. The 39-year-old succeeds interim manager Barry Ferguson, who only took over from Philippe Clermont in February.

The 39-year-old former Southampton boss, who had a short loan spell as a player in Govan in 2018, was confirmed as Rangers’ new head coach on Friday.
