A 22-year-old Los Angeles man is facing murder and burglary charges for the killing of a longtime American Idol staffer and her husband while allegedly attempting to rob their home in an upscale Los Angeles neighborhood last week.

"American Idol" music supervisor Robin Kaye, who was shot dead, worked on other competition shows including "Lip Sync Battle" and "The Singing Bee."

Raymond Boodarian, 22, is accused of having shot Robin Kaye and Thomas DeLuca after they walked in on him burglarizing their Encino home.
