Just a little more than one month after he signed a three-year, $31.5 million contract with the Denver Broncos during NFL free agency, linebacker Dre Greenlaw has suffered a "serious quad injury," according to a report from Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area.

Denver Broncos inside linebacker Dre Greenlaw suffered a quadriceps strain but is expected to be ready for the start of the 2025 NFL season, a league source told The Athletic. Greenlaw suffered the injury while working out and will spend several weeks rehabbing during the offseason and will not need surgery,

Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area previously reported that there was a belief that Greenlaw's injury was a torn quad, which would've cost him "a significant portion" of the upcoming campaign. Broncos fans will certainly be relieved that his injury isn't that serious. Greenlaw's deal with Denver is reportedly worth up to $31.5 million.
