Israel has hit back at Norway’s pledge to hand over World Cup qualifier profits to Gaza by warning against raising cash for “terrorist organisations”.

Norway’s $2 trillion sovereign wealth fund announced it is selling more Israeli companies in its latest move to address the public uproar over its investments linked to the war in Gaza.

Journalist Alec Luhn was reported missing on Aug. 4 after failing to board a scheduled flight from Norway to England.

Alec Luhn, a 38-year-old journalist who has worked for The Guardian, The New York Times and The Atlantic, is speaking out for the first time since his dramatic rescue in Norway. "I was grateful to be alive, grateful that I was, you know, still in one piece," Luhn told "Good Morning America."

Norway’s soccer federation says it “cannot remain indifferent” to humanitarian suffering in Gaza and will donate any profits from an upcoming World Cup qualifying game against Israel to aid work there.

The footballers are set to represent Hong Kong in the annual Homeless World Cup tournament, which kicks off on Saturday in Oslo, Norway. Each member of the team has experienced homelessness at some point in the past two years.
