With just one week remaining until Major League Baseball's 2025 trade deadline, it sure is shaping up to be a year in which a whole lot of buyers are fighting over the few assets the sellers have to offer.

From the Yankees to the Dodgers, the sport's biggest giants are among the clubs that need to take action ahead of the July 31 deadline.

Three division races feature 2-game leads or less. The best overall record belongs to the Detroit Tigers (59-38), who own the biggest lead at 11½ games over the Minnesota Twins (47-49) in the AL Central. While the Tigers are the favorites to win the AL at +240, they aren't the favorites to win it all.
