A Michigan woman, who said she had an “itch” to play the Mega Millions game, won a huge prize, lottery officials said.

A Linden woman was the first Michigan Lottery player to become a millionaire in the updated Mega Millions game.

A Genesee County woman won a $3 million Mega Millions prize after having a lucky feeling. Pamela Dietrich, 58, of Linden, matched the five white balls (15-37-38-56-58) in the April 11 drawing to win $1 million, but that prize was increased to $3 million due to the multiplier.
