The U.S. military has created a second military zone along the border with Mexico, adding an area in Texas where troops can temporarily detain migrants or trespassers after another such area was designated in New Mexico last month.

Customs and Border Protection officers arrested 18-year-old Aden "Jeremiah" Munoz after learning he was wanted on a capital murder warrant out of Austin.

The Defense Department says it has designated a second stretch on the U.S. border with Mexico as a military zone to enforce immigration laws.
