Former South Carolina guard MiLaysia Fulwiley announced Friday that she’s committed to play at LSU on social media. The heralded hometown signee who Staley called a “generational talent” declared her intentions to transfer from the Gamecocks a week earlier.

Columbia native and former South Carolina sophomore guard MiLaysia Fulwiley is officially leaving the program where she won an NCAA National Championship in 2024. Friday afternoon, the reigning SEC Sixth Woman of the Year announced on social media she will be transferring to LSU for her upcoming junior season.

When Fulwiley first decided to enter the transfer portal, she shared a heartfelt message on social media thanking the Gamecocks.
