Four leading news organizations say their journalists in Gaza are facing the threat of starvation as the Israel-Hamas war grinds on.

Palestinians are being shot or trampled to death while attempting to access aid hubs in the region, yet no party seems to have plans to address the trend.
The US and Israeli negotiating teams involved in efforts to secure a ceasefire between the Palestinian militant Hamas movement and Israel in the Gaza Strip have both been recalled home in a sign the talks may be on the brink of failure.
French President Emmanuel Macron said Thursday that France will recognize Palestinian statehood, a largely symbolic move but one that puts a leading, global nation at odds with Israel’s push for countries to hold off on recognizing Palestinian statehood until a resolution of the decades-old conflict.

France’s decision has only added to calls on the UK government to recognise Palestine. A cross-party committee of British MPs said it plainly: “It seems that the Israeli government is not listening to the UK. And while it listens to the US government, it only does so sporadically,” per Yahoo News.
As hunger tightens its grip on Gaza, local journalists documenting the crisis are now starving alongside the people they cover.
