“ A night of enchanted elegance ” ended in tragedy when a student died in a crash hours after her senior prom, Illinois officials said. At about 4:30 a.m. on May 4, the 18-year-old crashed on a ramp off of Interstate 94 in Calumet City, Illinois State Police said. She was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
