Dozens of cats and dogs displaced by last month's deadly Eaton Fire are now up for adoption and in need of a forever home.

It wasn’t quite raining cats and dogs at the Dane County Humane Society on Monday, but it came close. Shelter volunteers welcomed 18 cats from an Iola hoarding situation that day, and staff veterinarians also agreed to care for another 25 cats in that same case that will ultimately go to Angel’s Wish in Verona.

The Pasadena Humane Society will be resuming their pet adoptions for the first time since the Eaton Fire.  The agency has about 60 dogs and cats that were displaced due to the wildfire in the Altadena and Pasadena areas.

The Pasadena Humane Society is welcoming back potential owners wishing to give dogs, cats, and critters forever homes. The Eaton Fire left many animals displaced. The shelter is open 10a-5p all week for adoptions.
