The Houston Rockets are down 3-1 to the Golden State Warriors in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs despite being the higher seed. Jalen Green, playing in his first postseason, has had a tough series. While the guard erupted for 38 points in Game 2, Green scored seven points in Game 1, nine points in Game 3 and eight points in Game 4.

“He’s the best defender I’ve ever seen in my life. He rises to the occasion,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. “On top of being a great defender, he’s an incredible competitor. We’ve seen it. I’ve seen it for 11 years. Game on the line, Draymond making a stop. It’s like having Steph Curry take the shot.”
