Frederik Andersen skated by himself early Tuesday morning, but he’s officially out for Game 5 and “day to day,” per Hurricanes coach Rod Brind’Amour. Pyotr Kochetkov starts.

After the hit, backup goalie Pyotr Kochetkov replaced Andersen, conceding one goal—to Meier—on 15 shots. Brind'Amour confirmed after the game that Andersen would be evaluated in Raleigh on Monday and provided no additional details on the nature or severity of the injury.

If he can't go, Russian netminder Pyotr Kochetkov will make his third ever playoff start. He came in cold halfway through Sunday's game and after a soft goal on the second shot of the game, he settled in, making 14 saves on 15 shots.
