Dust isn't the only threat out there, especially for those with respiratory problems. Smoke from Canadian wildfires is moving south into the U.S., although it is not expected to last as long or be as bad in Florida as it was almost two years ago.

Rounds of smoke from hundreds of Canadian wildfires, as well as dust blowing off Sub-Saharan Africa, will continue to envelop portions of the United States into the summer, say AccuWeather meteorologists.

The air quality is reaching dangerous levels in parts of the Upper Midwest and north central U.S., where copious amounts of smoke from wildfires in Canada are wafting south across the international border.
