After Arroyo showed his abilities in his strong 2024 campaign, the Seattle Seahawks picked the Hurricanes tight end with the 50th pick, in the second round of the NFL draft on Friday night.

Elijah Arroyo was finally healthy enough to have a breakout season as a redshirt junior this past fall at Miami. He’ll now try to keep that going into his upcoming year at the next level. Arroyo spent the past four seasons and appeared in 33 games at The ‘U.

The Seahawks added another weapon to their offense in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, selecting University of Miami tight end Elijah Arroyo with pick No. 52.
