Following the success of Castlevania's second season on Netflix, the show's executive producer, Adi Shankar, has announced his next project: an animated Devil May Cry adaptation.

After securing the Devil May Cry rights in 2018, Shankar also teased that the new series would take place in the same universe as Castlevania. However, it’s not clear if this is still the plan.
