Kansas’ Bill Self was released from the hospital on Saturday after enduring a heart procedure. Self even issued a statement about having two stints inserted and the care at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball coach Bill Self was released from Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Saturday, KU Athletics announced.

"I feel strong and am excited to be home," Self said in a statement released by the Kansas athletics department.
