Aston Villa officials have expressed their unhappiness with the Premier League for bringing forward a match against Tottenham by two days to help Spurs maximize preparation time for a potential appearance in the Europa League final.

Aston Villa have accused the Premier League of showing “clear prejudice” against the club’s supporters after their match with Tottenham Hotspur was rescheduled.

Despite protestations from Villa, the match was moved up to give Spurs more time to prepare for the Europa League final.
