Food Network honored the late Anne Burrell Monday night during the premiere episode of the final season of her Worst Cooks in America series. At the end of the episode the network showed a smiling photo (you can see below) of Burrell alongside the message,

The Food Network star Anne Burrell’s death has been ruled a suicide, according to New York City’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The cause of death was given as “acute intoxication” due to the combined effects of alcohol, amphetamine and antihistamines.
