From the Emerald City to the Eternal City, Alaska Airlines announced on Tuesday that it will be launching a new direct flight from Seattle to Rome, Italy next year.

Italy will be the destination for Alaska Airlines’ first transatlantic foray. The airline announced nonstop Seattle to Rome flights from May 2026. It will mark Alaska’s Europe debut. It is the latest step in its international expansion, having announced flights to Seoul and Tokyo.
