With the Yankees up four runs in the eighth inning, the bullpen phone rang for Luke Weaver, their closer and best reliever. Weaver warmed up while the Yankees were batting in the ninth, then after finishing this tosses he started to do his stretching and felt something wrong. There was discomfort in one of his hamstrings.

Much of the weekend revolved around the World Series rematch with the Yankees visiting the Dodgers. We didn't get a walk-off grand slam or anything, but there was entertaining baseball and a Dodgers series win.
