The equipment trucks have arrived at George M. Steinbrenner Field, where workers ushered dozens of cardboard boxes and duffel bags toward the home clubhouse this week: bats, balls, uniforms and everything else the Yankees will need for six weeks of Spring Training under the Florida sunshine.

On Tuesday, pitchers and catchers will move across the street to George M. Steinbrenner Field for report day, which also means Aaron Boone’s first news conference of spring training.

What never changes is the Yankees’ championship expectations, and manager Aaron Boone is already “very encouraged’’ by “the level of focus’’ of his early arriving players to get back to the World Series.
