April 15 (UPI) -- Wink Martindale, host of game shows Tic-Tac-Dough and Gambit, died Tuesday at age 91. Deadline and The Los Angeles Times cited a press release the Martindale family sent out.
Mr. Martindale said his many years as a radio DJ were helpful to him as a game show host because radio often calls for ad-libs and he learned to handle almost any situation in the spur of the moment.
