More than 8,000 MonPower customers in Monongalia and Preston counties are still without power Monday night, but Morgantown officials say that power should return within the next 24 hours.

WATAUGA — Power has been restored to more than 3,500 who lost it Monday afternoon, according to Blue Ridge Energy.
