For the second straight day, the biggest story at the NFL Draft continues to be Shedeur Sanders. It wasn't a total shock to see him fall out of the first round on Thursday, but it was absolutely stunning to see him go undrafted on Day 2.

Louisville’s Tyler Shough became the third quarterback taken in the 2025 NFL Draft when the Saints picked him with the 40th overall selection — with Shedeur Sanders getting passed over once again. The Saints were expected to take a quarterback at some point during the draft, and were viewed as a possible landing spots for Sanders.

Widely considered a first-round talent, Coach Prime’s highly touted son remains on the board after three rounds and 102 picks as his stunning slide continues.
