According to a Quinnipiac University poll, the majority of U.S. voters disapprove of Trump's handling of files related to Epstein, a wealthy financier who died by suicide in jail in August 2019, weeks after his arrest on sex trafficking charges.

Former President Trump is facing backlash from some of his supporters after the Justice Department declined to release additional files related to Jeffrey Epstein, the financier and convicted sex offender who died in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.

The president asked his supporters to “let Pam Bondi do her job” as she faces scrutiny over handling the release of documents related to the disgraced financier.
