LINCOLN, Ala. -- In yet another close finish at a track notorious for them, Austin Cindric edged out Ryan Preece in a photo finish to win the Jack Link's 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. Cindric, the 2022 Daytona 500 champion and one of the best superspeedway racers in NASCAR, earned his first Talladega win and the third win of his Cup career.

Penske teammate Joey Logano was livid following the end of Sunday’s second stage when Cindric didn’t push him and it allowed Toyota driver Bubba Wallace to win the stage.

This is Cindric's third career win and first at Talladega. Cindric took the lead after completing the fastest pit stop in the final stop of the race then held off the field and pushed his No. 2 Team Penske Ford past Ryan Preece to score the checkered flag.
