Special Olympics Tennessee and Vanderbilt University have announced a bid to host the 2030 Special Olympics USA Games in Nashville.

Cleveland is the perfect home for the 2030 Special Olympics USA Games, its athletes, families, and fans across the country.”

The group will compete in 11 of the 16 Olympic-type sports offered including: athletics, basketball, bocce, bowling, flag football, golf, powerlifting, soccer, softball, swimming and volleyball.

Special Olympics Tennessee and Vanderbilt University officially announced Nashville's bid to host the 2030 Special Olympics USA Games Monday at Vanderbilt's McGugin Center.
